Success And Failure Stories

Hi, i would be very interested to hear what everyone's stories of their best successes/proudest moments are, and their worst failures/most shameful moments in the world of fishkeeping.....

To start things off, my most shameful story is that i kept 2 fancy goldys in 4 gall for a full year on the advice of the boss at the lfs where i worked. They are now in a huge tank but i know i have stunted them for life.

my best success is the breeding of some very very pretty guppies. (not a big deal, i know, but i am chuffed)

would love to hear from someone with more experience as well as noobs and semi-noobs, as i could learn from their mistakes and be inspired by their successes all in one place!

My biggest failure is not convincing my brother to move his 3 goldfish into a bigger tank, only room for 1 in the current tank
