Some owners feed 2-3 times a day in smaller amounts to promote growth or feed a larger portion once a day.

If you are feeding more than once a day feed as much as they can consume within 2-3 minutes if once a day as much as they can consume in 8-10 minutes.

I dont own a sturgeon but Ill bet that they can deal with the snails on there own. Besides snails and slugs arent very good in the garden anyways much better to toss in to the pond than earth worms (theres something wrong with that senatnce but its 3 am so I'm not sure what)

I found a larvae maggot type thing under a water butt the other day, bet the grass carp had that

i chuck pellets in a few at a time make the fish compete for the food as they would in the wild,once they stop coming to the top thats it till the day after

I do that with my Rudd in my tank, they splash everywhere, you would think there's piranas in there with a fresh bit of meat!!

I'ved only been feeding them at night but have started giving them a bit during the day aswell, they just have crushed flakes!!

I think they are his fry form last year and are to small to go in the pond. But they are going in quite soon aren't they paul?
