Stunted growth ?

I have a Black Lancer which we bought about 3 months ago which has stayed at the 6 cm we bought it at. How long do they live and what age is generally considered to be past adolecence ? I always thought they grew quickly at first, tank conditions are good and temp is 25, fed veriety of foods incl agae wafers and meat, loads of hiding places and 4 foot tank with 25% water change every fortnight. What am I doing wrong ?

Black lancers are a long lived slow growing species, 3 months is not very long at all to see any kind of growth, i wouldnt expect to see much more growth than a few inches a year really. If i remember rightly they can live up to around 20 years.
