Stunted Discus

I have a 4 or 5 month old stunted blue-turq discus, he is only about 2 inches long and hasnt grown at all since i got him despite me having given him the correct care, someone else i know bought discus from the same guy and has the same problem so i guess it's something he did Anyway i'm off to uni in September, and had to take the discus out of the current tank because he was being bullied, we are moving house and my parents said i can only have 1 tank so in all i suppose i need to get rid of him I dont have the heart to put him back in the main tank to be bullied, so i was wondering if anyone has any better ideas? Maybe if anyone would be prepared to adopt the little guy? I'm in southend on sea, essex. Thanks for any replies x

There are any number of reasons that your discus may be stunted - it is not necessarily the dealers fault. It could, for example be down to the fact he was being bullied.

Trying to have him adopted is probably your best bet - also think about advertising at the place you are moving to & even at a push the area you are going to for Uni.

Hope you manage to find someone for him - if you were in the northwest I would rehome him for you.
