I have 6 in my tank, levels are good - no ammonia or nitrite, been doing frequent water changes to keep nitrates down, pH 7.4

I have been trying to feed them New Life Spectrum community 1mm pellets. As soon as I put my hand over the water they swim all over the place and hide. I have only had them for just over a week so I know they are still settling in, but I know they want to eat because they swim over to the food. The thing is they don't get to it before it hits the bottom and if they do, they spit it out. They were being fed cheap flakes in the store so maybe they are used to that, but that isn't what I want to feed my fish. My corys are eating fine.

Will they scavenge the pellets off the substrate? Tips to get them eating NLS? I would just wait it out but i've heard Black tetras are voracious eaters so it worries me.

they can still be getting use to the new food, if you want them to eat then you can give them blood worms, or something alive.
