Stronger Anti-biotic Than Maracyn One/two

what's a stronger anti-biotic than maracyn one/two for columnaris (body fungus)?

i'm looking for one that will not nuke the bio-filter like aquarium products' clout does.

Go with a triple sulfa sort of med. If you want really effective you will kill the nitrifying bacteria in the filter. This is one of the reasons behind large daily water changes.

Beyond that would be kanamycin or gentamicyn, neither of which is cheap.

Any medication that affects gram negative bacteria could possibly affect the nitrifying bacteria, this is why a med tank with frequent water changes is suggested.
