Strange Guppy Fry?

My latest batch of Guppy fry were born yesterday but unlike all the others about six of them were born half black, they are the normal drab grey colour from the head back but about half way down their bodies it looks as if someone has taken a black marker pen to them they are jet black.

Now I thought it took quite a while for them to develope any colours but obviously I was wrong have any of you seen this or heard of this before?

Ah, you have Half-blacks. They look very pretty when they're grown up. That's not abnormal, don't worry. Some Guppies, espcially the ones with two-tone bodies tend to be born with coloring. Markings and tail coloring will develop later.
