Stocking

I was wondering if my tank was overstocked.
It's a 14 gallon 52 litre tank:
- 2 Dwarf Gouramis
- male Betta
- 5 male Guppies
- 1 apple snail.

Do all your fish get along? You're stocking looks very volatile as Betta's shouldn't be kept with other Anabantoids such as the Gourami's, and also issues with aggression can arise when keeping male Fighters with Male Guppies as the colours can confuse them and also the Guppies can be a little nippy towards the Betta.

And i would also say that your tank isn't big enough for 2 Dwarf Gourami's.

Okay never mind overstocked, the stocking is pretty bad, I say dwarf gouramis should have at least a 20 gallon for 2 but they shouldn't even be together, 2 male dwarfs will fight, as will the gouramis and betta, male guppies and bettas are a bad idea as guppies look like another male to the betta, I'd say rehome the male betta and one of the gouramis and keep the;

1 Dwarf Gourami
5 Male Guppies
1 Apple Snail

Thats pretty much your stocking limit, maybe room for a few ghost shrimp but thats it.

take out the dwarf gouramis and the betta they cannot be kept together with that stocking, because they both are super territorial fish, and shouldnt be kept together unless it is a decent size tank that is heavily planted so the fish can have their own territories

I still don't think a 52 litre tank is adequate space for 1 DG. Honey's yes, but not Dwarf.

Stocking certainly needs to be addressed im afraid. I would certainly not place the bettas with the guppies due to their tales attracting unwanted attention. DG not too sure about as havent kept them, so will pass on this

Are the guppies not to big for this tank? I would have thought they would need a bigger tank, depending on the size which im assuming around th 2' length? May be wrong though
