My current list of fish include:

2 yoyo fish
5 neon tetras
3 tiger barbs
2 swordtails
2 gouramis

I have live plants and a sand base. What fish would fit with them yet still look cool (want some interesting fish...not too many though. Thinking about 2 more.

Hi your tank is about 60 liters isnt it? If so Yoyo loaches will outgrow that tank they are quite chunky fish as adults, they also need to be in groups of 5 but I would just rehome those 2 - khuli loaches or rosy loaches are realisitic options to your tank.

Also the tiger barbs - you need to keep them in groups of 6 or more and with tiger barbs more is always better as it stops nipping to other species of fish. What kind of gourami do you have?

Well my tiger barbs stopped nipping anything after my 4th tiger barb died. They are quite calm now! I can't rehome the loaches as the shop doesent take them back and no-one in the neighborhoob i know has an aquarium. The ponds an alternative I have blue gouramis. Not sure about the proper name though.

But if i were to get new fish, what fish would be a good addition. Lets say i buy a new tank. What fish should i add?

Are the gourami Blue Opaline Gourami or Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami.

If you were to get a bigger tank thats something to talk about when we know how much bigger this tank will be - for a group of Yoyo loaches you want to be looking at something at least 47 inches or 4 foot long.
