Will these two cichlids, Haplochromis Sp. and Iodotropheus sprengerae be able to be kept together in an 80L tank? I realise this is quite small, but they both reach a similar size and Rusty's aren't very aggressive as far as mbuna go. Only other stocking would be algae eaters and a few small dither fish.

I'd say no, even though they are considered peaceful, i.sprengerae are still mbuna, and therefore should not be kept in anything smaller than a 4-foot tank.

An 80 liter tank is too small for either species IMO.

I was thinking so, hopefully I'll be moving my cichlids into a 150L very early next year, atm I don't have a rusty, just the flameback who's still a juvenile.
