Stocking Options For 275 Gallon

Oscars are quite peaceful as cichlids go. I doubt they'd even touch the plec.

But the JD may cause problems with all your other fish (even the oscar).

So are you saying maybe i should drop the JD? I dont really want to but if it is a must i will do it. I though JD could live with an oscar maybe im wrong .....
I realized that clown plecs need wood in their diet so i dropped clown plec. I really want to keep 4 clown loaches and not full grown. Maybe at 5-6" I can keep them in my 30 gallon and once they get that big then switch em into my 275.
Does it sound good?

I dont really want firemouths.
Would a choclate chiclid be fine? They are real colorful and grow to 10 inches :)

I think the fish is called a common gourami, this fish is like the original gourami that all othe gouramis get their name from and it gets lik 2ft long. They're so awesome especially the albino ones.

Someone mentioned a bichir. Are bichir's allowed in the US? I know snakeheads arent.
And i doubt a bichir will be fine with an oscar.

Ill keep everyone updated and post pics as soon as there are fish in there :D
Im guessing 3-4 more days until i am ready to add fish. Ill go check my water conditions now.

bichirs are legal in the us. if you go to petsmart, senegals are labeled dinosaur eel. they cost 7 dollars and are about 3 inches long. they grow up to 12 inches, so im guessing it would be alright. senegals are the most active, so i guess this would be the best choice. if you want an 18 inch living log, get an ornate  if you want, i can send you a bichir list

Edit:fixed typos

Dorkhedeos can u send me a list? It would be greatly appreciated.
Would a bichir be fine with the fish im getting though?
And can some1 also suggest a bigger pleco that grwos pretty fast (so it grows some-waht the rate of my Oscar and JD) and not a common plec.
