Just wanted to add that you can't mix and match cory species to make a group. You need a minimum of 6 of one type, just like you couldn't have one each of 6 types of tetra. They're shoaling fish.

UPDATE:
Well i had a shift around sold my river reef 94 and cycled the rio 180
I re-homed my 4 emperor tetras to coldcazzie
and my cardinals to dh058977

so my stock list is now:

12 harlequins
8 rummy nose tetras
6 bronze corys
2 pepper corys (not sure what to do yet)

ok that the list so far i'm sure im no where near fully stocked or am i
Im open to any ideas for further ideas on what to add and how much i have to go

im looking at maybe:

Rams
dwarf cichlid
some thing i little bigger than what i have
maybe some room for some form of algae eater im sure at some point i will need some

based on my own set up/experiences i think you can get another shoal of small bodied fish (10ish)
Depending on water stats maybe a trio of Apisto's as well.Depends what 'algae eaters' you're thinking about.A BN will have a different affect on numbers, to say, Oto's
never kept anything 'bigger', sorry

You could look at the Bolivian Rams mate, i love mine Pair of Keyholes? Certainly needs a focus fish of some sort. Algae shouldnt become a problem really, i only ever hear of it when people have their lights on for too long/new tanks with higher traces of ammonia, otherwise its a non issue.

Yeah i suppose they are a little on the small side They do have a lot more character than the other fish though, certainly shows when they get all territorial and would be interesting with a breeding pair.

Ive also looked at them, as for the algae lol i hope when i had my river reef i got loads of the brown stuff i had lights on 8hrs on timer
should i lower it to 6? maybe in the new tank im looking at adding plants this week

im not looking for jaws in there ive seem tanks with "focal point fish" before and thought to my self that just dont look right
so for me the rams/apistos may be a balance of the 2

I dont think its just you ive changed my stock and only been set up 3 month it that you see what your mate has and want some

BN=bristlenose plec.

Not had one, but told they're decent algae eaters when young, less so when older? get to 6" when grown.For me that's too big, when the rest of the inhabitants are small (for me, doesn't look quite right, 1 big fish surrounded by lots of small)

With Apisto's, some will not handle hard water, while others will (research needed).Yours LFS should be able to test a sample for hardness.

re lighting period.Not sure what lighting you've got.If T5's, i'd personally start low (6hrs) then build up
