Sorry, but I didn't quite get that- do you have all the fish your tank on the stocking list? or is the stocking list full of Want to be fish? :look:

If your tank is full of these fish, then watch out! Some of the fish you chose can grow quite big, have different water requirements, and can be big bullys
If these our wanabe fish, then yoy can fit some more... why not a pare of German Blue Rams, and a large school of Cardinal Tetras? that would look awsome!

Oh, and yes, you were right, add them one by one.

Well, talk to me if you need more help! :good:

Well, the nine glowlights look fine, but you may want to get a few more harlquins caus they like living in a shoal.
I have always been a fan of cardinal tetras, and blue rams are a nice, small, cichlid.

If you want to stick to the Amazon theme of your tank, then why not get this?

9 Glowlight Tetras
6 Harlequin Rasboras
9 Cardinal Tetra
2 German Blue Ram

I think that would work quite nicely.
Glowlight Tetra's are a great, classic peacful tetra.
Harlequins are small and playful
Cardies have a beutiful temperment and look,
and German Blue Rams, are a amazing, small, interactive Cichlid.

If I were you, I would go with that!

Cheers

i want more than that
i had 10 glo lights 10 harlequins i have now 3 harlequins and 9 glolights now i wanna add them back up to 10 each and i also wanna put more fish in

The first question we need to ask is what happened to the other 7 rasboras. My own experience with them is that they are as tough as nails and live a good long time. Before adding fish back in, make sure you have taken care of whatever killed off most of the first group. There is no point to just replacing fish over and over again without doing some serious troubleshooting to ensure it doesn't just keep happening to your fish.

not sure what happened to them mate they didnt have nips or anything on when i took them out the water and water conditions are fine people have said they dont knowwhat could of killed them and they were probably just dodgey fish i bought, there was 10 glo lights on friday and then i was only counting 9 i checked if it got sucked to the inlet and checked under bog wood and my plane and done my best with plants and couldnt find it ... i also did a water change and i also very careful but i could of sucked it by mistake not sure tho

so i gues it would be ok to add fish soon? so could someone tell me how many of each fish i could have or what ones i can and cant have please, i also have loads of snails and i have done nothing about it would they cause problems to fish?

Snails are unsightly but do no harm to the fish. I try to control mine manually because I don't like adding any chemicals to my aquariums. It is pretty easy to pick them off the glass and just crush between your finger tips to make a meaty treat for the larger fish.

ok thanks mate, could you answer my first post if you can ? thanks

Once you have your fish loss reasons in hand and know all will be well, the list is OK except for the red tailed sharks and the betta. Red tailed sharks, really most with a name of shark, are too aggressive for peaceful tanks. The betta will become a victim with all those tetras zipping around him. You will need to be careful adding the BN plecs and the gouramis because both fish tend to be territorial with their own species and your 55 gallon is not big enough for many of either fish.

ok i wont get the shark and i will only get 1 plec anyway, is the ph an issue for any of the fish coz my ph is 7.6

I wouldn't get GBRs, they don't appreciate that pH and they're not suited for newer tanks. 6 months plus imo...

bolivian rams would be better suited

gbr are blue rams i take it mate? and my tank is well over 6 months i would say

sorry yes, blue rams are normally called german blue ram

Well the pH isn't ideal for them, I'd put some bogwood in there if you really want them. They're very sensitive fish.
