Hi again just mulling around a final stocking idea for my Roma 240, so nice and simple (ish)

Fluval Roma 240 (65ish gallon) tank with a Fluval FX5 filter, regular water changes of weekly or twice a week dependent on amount of spare time.

(Fish with a * are already in tank)

1 x Aequidens Diadema *
1 x HRP (male)*
1 x Nic (female)*
1 x Crenicichla Regani
3 x Annostomus Ternetzi*
12 x Columbian Tetras or Bleeding Heart Tetras
3 x Pictus Catfish *(2 of)
2 x L235 *(1 of)
2 x L204

Now the questions I am asking my self is

1. Is that too many plecs? Should I just stick to 2 of one type or 2 of one and 1 of the other?
2. The C. Regani - in the store they are very small and a bit worried that they would get munched down by Acara like my blue tetras did but surely the dwarf pike would defend its self as it is as much (if not more so) a predator like the Acara would be?

Let me know what you think :)

i would reduce the number of plecs just because of the competition for food. my l204 will challenge other plecs for food but won't try and budge cichlids or fast moving cats e.g pictus.

I would personally just go with one of each of the plecs,
I'd also be wary of the pictus with the cichlids when they get bigger, I find they can sometimes turn on the cats and bite their barbels off,

I wouldn't worry about the pike with the other cichlids, they can be evil little things at times and can definitely compete with the other cichlids you have
