Stocking For A 5x2x2ft Tank 150 Us Gallons

I am picking up a 5x2x2ft tank on sunday morning and wondered what i could put in it.

at the moment i have a 36x12x18inch tank with

8 Cardinal tetra
4 Zebra danio
4 Male Guppys
4 Rabauti Corydoras
1 Small orange spotted plec
1 Bn plec

so will probably move them over in the near future becos i'm gonna need to filter for the new tank

but what else would you guys recommend ?

a parrot cichlid - I know a guy who has one going for free

Congrats on the tank mate - you lucky thing! Are you sure it's 150 gallon? Seems a bit high to me but it's still a great big tank.

EDIT - just done the maths on it and you're right - 150 gallons on the nose. That's huge!

Was it an ebay purchase?

yep its a 148 us gallons....
i have one......leave those fish in that tank mate and go south/central american cichlids you wont regreat it

What about some redline torpedo barbs and scissortail rasboras like at Wheatley then maybe some rainbowfish - boesemani and lake kutubu maybe? They colour up really well.

These are all fish that I've considered for my 240 litre but in the end I decided to go with a larger number of smaller fish.

Its my old 5x2x2 I origionally bought it for CA and SA cichlids.

It is big its gonna take some getting use to having to climb a ladder to do any sort of maintanance.

your tank is absolutely huge.

biggest tank i've seen that isn't at and sealife centre.
