People seem to worry about the weight of tanks. Well If you think about it, the force exerted on a MUCH smaller area by a human is probably equal to the weight of a tank distributed by a stand.

Now imagine your having a party and there are 5 people in your room.... thats got to be equal to a couple of hundred gallons of water!

200g water weighs something like 1665 pounds and that's not taking into account the glasss, decor etc

5 people would weigh say...600 pounds and you are totally ignoring the fact that people at a party stand there for a night at most, a tank will be there for years and can cause very gradual changes to the floor...

the floors of kitchens and bathrooms are designed to be stronger *just* to take the added weight of fridges and baths

i don't mean to sound critical i jsut dont want anyone thinking "my floor supports 5 people so it can support a 200g tank"
