Stocking 7g

yes but if i have endlers, wont they all be swimming at the top? and have the ottos at the bottom? wont that boring to watch as i wont be able to see hardly any fish as there at the top + i dont think any of my 4 lfs sell endlers....... :/ problem

...my lfs DONT sell endlers....thinking tetras now god this is annyoing

right, i think iv made my final decision lol...pristella tetras (x-rays)
they only grow max. 1.5inch, and im getting one otto now instead of 3 coz u can keep them on their own :)
so it would be:

- 5 Pristella tetras = 7.5
- 1 otto = 1.5 inch
- total= 6 fish - 9 inches in a 8gallon - (uk) tank...

soooo would this be ok?? :)

You can try to order in Endlers. Most LFS will do that for you. Or there is the option of getting them from online and shipping them. Or perhaps someone on this forum will know of something better. I'm not in the UK, so I'm not much help.

nah i dont want oots of fish at the top of tank, least tetras swim middle as well, wud x-rays be ok?

wud head and tail light tetras be better instead then?

Endlers swim all over the tank. But each to their own. I personally like to give schooling fish, like Tetras, more room. And you mentioned earlier you do too? -_-

they stay at top, ours u can hardly see em coz there at the surface all time

Do you have enough aeration and is your water quality good? They should be an all around fish. It's a bit worrying your's are always at the top. -_- Unless they are always just looking for food when you come in.

they have been in for a year n half so cant be ill, we havent lost one, and yes ur probably right we feed floating bloodwormy stuff to them and there always first for flake...
so do they swim all around, ik having a very fast current and water changes every week so which do u reccommend:

x-ray tetras or head n tail light tetras? :good:

tetra-man2, i know this is rich coming from me (a major silly question asker), but i think you should take some time to quietly research...

You keep changing your mind, it does not sound like your fussy, just very confused and unsure.
By constantly asking if 'is that okay', you need to remember fish species have many different needs.
While you do not need people to say 'yes that is okay' if you do your research...

Try and narrow down your plans, and stick to those plans.
It’s fine to be interested in more than a few types of fish, but do some proper research then start asking questions.

People don't come on here to ask if 'this and that is okay'. They come on here to find out about certain fish in depth, real life experiences and to solve problems and questions that research contradicts its-self on...

Anyway no point planning what fish to put in the tank until you actually have the tank setup and cycled and stats to give us...
You’ll make the whole planning process boring for yourself if you plan it all before you even have it all set up…trust me I have done that myself – and it’s a long wait till the whole things cycled…
