Can I keep 1 telescope goldfish, 1 shubunkin goldfish and 1common goldfish in a 56 gallon aquarium for there whole life. the shubunkin is about 4 inches long the common is 7 inches long and the telescope is 2 inches long they are growing out of the pond outside and the 14 gallon aquarium that I have right now. Thank u for your help :)

Hi its not really ideal if I am honest - Telescopes dont usually do well with common/comets/shubunkins as their eyes can effect how they feed and find food etc.

Dont judge fish based on the size they are now you need to remember that all 3 of these fish can easily make 10 inches if not more.

I would suggest a bigger pond if thats possible? Long body goldfish really deserve it and need it and if you have capacity for a pond now why not extend it?

The telescope has been fine with them for a while now, when I walk up to the tank he immediately go's to the top and looks for food. Is it still okay is I keep them in the 56 there whole life if not tell me how big they should get before I put them in a bigger pond.
Thank u for your help wills :)

No probs :)

Growing them on in a 56g is okay so long as you keep up with the water changes and it is well filtered. I would say at 7 inches the common is ready to move to a pond now really. 7/8 inches is probs the max you want in a 56g
