I have a heavly planted 55G tank with 2 large pieces of driftwood.

The fish that are in my tank as of right now are---

10 Harlequin Rasbora
5 Corys
4 Ottos
2 longfin blue rams and a male bolivin ram

This is what I want to add to finish my stocking....twll me what you think?

Adding 8 Cardianls, 3 more corys and 4 hachetfish. What do you think about that stocking?

I think if you're heavily planted, you could easily add at least 10-12 cardinals, 3-5 more corydoras, and about 6-8 hatchetfish without a problem, especially if your maintenance regimen is pretty regular and extensive and you have very good filtration. This is just me, however, as I tend to overstock because I heavily plant, do weekly 25--35% water changes, vacumn weekly, and often have double filters. Otherwise, you should be fine with what you plan to add. I haven't used inch per gallon in over 15 years, and now just eyeball based on how it looks and stick with fish that don't produce much waste. Not saying inch per gallon is bad, it's a great beginning guideline, you eventually move beyond it.

llj :)

you have plenty of room there. you could add more of what you have or try something like a plec or loach. the small schooling fish can often be the most effective.
