Stirring Sand

Hey guys,

How often do I need to stir the sand in my 40gal community? I have 5 corys that do alot of digging, and a panda garra, these tend to stir the sand up alot, but do I still need to stir it?

If so, how? and how often?

i never stir my sand i just put 50 MTS when i set the tank up they do the stiring for me

I've been told that because when the bubbles are in the water for such a short time anyway it doesn't harm the fish... not sure this is certain but I have MTS to deal with it anyway.

Mmm. dont really fancy any MTS, anyone else know?

just give it a swirl when doing tank maintenace it only takes a few seconds to do.
