I have a new 350 litre tank (Juwel Rio 300) which has been running for a few weeks now. I have put my old two and a half inch Plec in on his own, and its my intention soon to add 2 Young Oscars, 3 Parrot Fish and 4 or 5 TinFoil Barbs. I would like something like Clown Loaches to join the Plec down the bottom of the tank. Is this likely to work, or will the Oscars grow too quick and eat the Clown Loaches. If so, is there another bottom feeding fish or two that you would suggest?

I dont want to overcrowd!!!

Thanks.

In 350l then with that list you would already be way overstocked. You could do the plec and an Oscar.

I agree, you will be way over stocked with your suggestion. Indigo is right an Oscar an a Pleco will easily fill your trigon. You will also have to up the standard filtration as both fish are pooping machines.

the new rio's have extra 50 litres each :) [rio 300 is 350, 400 is 450] I think its only on the bigger models though :)

 sorry!

Why do they have to go and change the names to make things more complicated?! It was simple before cos you knew the volume of the tank from the name...
