Synodontis species catfish (hard to say what you have from that photo, possibly a S. euptera? ["Featherfin") are also commonly known as "squeakers" for a good reason. ;)

A couple of years ago, I pulled all teh bogwood out of a tank and put in in a bucket. About 10 minutes later we heard belches coming from the bucket, a Synodontis nigriventris had come out with the bogwood (somehow not squashed) and was not happy! Picked him up with wet hands and he swam off happily to tell teh tale to his mates.

yeah i thought it was maybe featherfin too but wasn't sure, when we pulled it out of the tank and it squeaked, the 3 of us were like #136### but i've heard of them doing this whilst my 2 mates thought it was weird

i ll try get better pics

Yup, no doubt..
How big? the coloring and spots say young to me.. Should get up to 8" maybe a tad more but likely not.
Looks healthy, and well kept.. all barbels intact, good specimen :good:

I really should link this free software to razor down photos while not loosing quality,
certainly helps me out when posting to forums..
these , and others took forever to load on my phone and take up huge amounts of screen real estate when linked at full size.
Not endorsing just commenting that I use it to cut down on screen waste.
