Gorgeous predator, should get to about 14" in a tank. In my 6x2x2 with my 2 Lima Shovelnose and various other catfish and cichlids.

Theres a long story behind this fish, but i'm sure lots of you aren't bothered. Basically it was accidently taken off the counter at work when i was about to pay for it. The people who took it rehomed it at a friends house. She came in last week complaining that she got given a fish that was eating all of her tetra, so she brought it back in at the weekend.

So Hurrah, he's back with me now! Phew!

Accident my butt, people dont "accidently" pick up a expensive fish and then rehome it with a friend.

Nice to see a few more of these coming in now, it took 5 years to track mine down and that was one of the first imported into the country apart from by private collectors for the last decade. Yours is a beauty Bunji.

Lovely fish Bunji. I have one of these guys at about 4". I was told they aren't too active during the day, but mine is pretty active, not as much as the lima's but still :D

Anyway, gorgeous fish!

EDIT - Spelling

It's beautiful, just beautiful!
Thank goodness the lady he went to first had fish she didn't want him eating, huh?

£16.50 is the bargain of the century, mine cost me £55 and about £10 in petrol costs on top of that :hyper:

Gorgeous fish !
Hope it's settled in nicely now :)
