spotted rapheal ?

I have already found a home for most of my previous fish and by this time next week i should have made the complete change to an african tank. I'm curious if my spotted rapheal can stay with me? Hes about 5 inches. From what I've been reading he should be ok but the fish might bite his eyes out which just sounds nasty and i wouldnt want that to happen to my fish since he is one of my favorites. thanks

I have housed spotty ralphs with cichlids before with no problems. The cichlids usually pay bottom feeders little attention.
