Spots

Are you ordering this on line or getting it at local shop? I ask because you need to act fast. That's an advanced outbreak so I would encourage you not to wait for the med to be shipped to you but rather pick it up locally and start the treatment ASAP.

If you do use heat as part of the treatment, the species in your photos can handle it without issue.

API White Spot Cure is available at Pets at Home. I don't usually suggest this shop but there should be a branch near you and they should be open past the closing time of other fish stores, and as Innesfan said speed is important.

Edit to add - Pets at Home also list Interpet white spot med which also contains malachite green

Oh no I'm not waiting for Evri, I'm going to the shop as soon as I can get out of work (ie now)

With ich, every hour matters. With the water volume in the wild, a fish may get one or two cysts and have the millions of parasites carried away in the flow. Inside a glass box, the fish are trapped in with these voracious parasites, and the parasite rapidly overwhelms and kills the host it would only annoy in nature.

Good luck. It's an awful problem most aquarists encounter at one time or another.

Those dots have been on the wood for years. I do have nerite snails...

Quick update - only lost one fish since adding the treatment. Unfortunately lost the majority of my smaller fish before being able to treat it. I'm hoping it's started to turn a corner. Will of course complete the course.
