No to the knife fish, i don't really like just having one fish in a tank, i like to watch them interact. As for the others, i need to do some research, i'm not familiar with all of them! I'm leaning towards the Tanganyikan cichlids though, was at lfs today, some of the zebra types are cool,(sorry forgotten their name!

Some smaller Apistogrammas? Sorry...they are my "small tank cichlid favorite" atm
