what the difference is its gram positive or negative, I dont think the mistake matters to the thread Wilder dont worry about it, as API acknowledge they dont know if Melafix works on Gram Negative or Postive, or so i understand? I might be wrong there, it was only one source i read that said that

I think companies choose their wording very carefully!!! Manipulation

doesnt Sterazin say it "controls internal parasites" thats different to killing them and saving the fish!!!!

Protozin says it treats Neon Tetra Disease, but everywhere on the internet it seems to say this disease cannot be cured. So what is the medication treating then?

Its confusing

She asked api if melafix worked on gram positive and gram negative bacteria and he replyed no.
Thats all I wanted to know.

Also waterlife meds say they can treat ntd which is wrong as there no cure.

It stinks and a lovely price tag of seven pounds.

it is ridiculously pricey

the cheapest i can get 473ml is about £11 plus postage

Expensive bath oil.
Its good for clearing your nose when you have cold.

i dont really use it in the bath LOL, but you could its just weak tea tree oil

I used to rub tea tree oil all over my face as spotty teenager, it was good stuff and really helped my skin, did JACK for my fin rot though Wilder ;)

Lol.
The smell so strong when I opened the melafix up, I thought poor fish.

you need to keep Australian fish, they should feel right at home.
Give me a home among the gum trees. With lots of .,.,/,/.,

Hey my tiger barb was attacked by another tiger barb, fins are completely shreded but the fish has made it through the night so I think it still has a chance. Will melafix speed up the fin healing process?

that's what wilder's saying.....melafix is a healing aid in effect....a bit like savlon or TCP cream for humans with cuts, etc.....it helps heal, but it doesn't cure anything as it states on the package.....pimafix is a fungal treatment, which apparently is stronger when used with melafix...though i've read no further into it than just the med bottles.

Kind of in the same way that adding a little aquarium salt can help keep infections away and healing damaged tissue
