Sometimes A Bargain Is Too Good To Pass Up?

i have a sort of same dilema.

i just bought ( well 2 months ago ) a 260L fluval vicenza tank

Anyway the owner of out work,very rich,offered me his bow fronted rena panormaic tank 300L ish i think,beech cabinet,lighting and filter for £60

i was going to keep it and store it,or buy and make a profit.

not sure what to do neither,lol

Just been to look & its lovely :good:

really good condition & really big lol, not sure how to get it here, but thats half the fun, the filters are being dropped off to me tonight.

Now I have to figure out what goes in it, I'm very tempted to divide it into 5 for 5 male Betta's but would that be a waste of a nice big tank? Maybe an Oscar, or some Angels?? Or the Convict Cichlids I fell in love with at the LFS but know nothing about?

Lots of research to do........

. Imagine a gorgeous school of rainbows in a tank that size... yummy! Totally jealous and of course looking forward to hearing and seeing more about it! And here I was thinking that my 30"x12"x16" tank with hood and cabinet was a bargain off ebay for £50! Should've shopped around :lol:

You have plenty of options with a tank that size. If it has a secure tight fitting lid then what about reedfish or bichirs?

i cant believe your debating wether or not to get it, now this will sound harsh, but you can get a new hubby .. but a 4.5 ft tank with bits n bobs for £30....go and call her back and say yes.. we`ll let you hide behind us when he gets home :lol:

Not conspiring...she's already asked the OH and he said she could buy it...

It's signed an sealed...lol. Gotta say she's pretty good at her job (being a woman that is), to have had the OK within a couple of hours. Didn't even have to bribe him. Very impressive!
