I've never kept shrimp or Galaxy Rasbora. I'm plannng on getting a 60 litre tank to keep some in. Planning on a 58 litre tank. What stocking levels should I be looking at?

I like to use this web site when I stock my tank
http://aqadvisor.com/
you put in your tank details, length, width, filter, surface area then choose the fish from the drop down menu.
at the bottom it gives you a cleaning guide, perfect temp, all specific fish parameters and shows you if tank mates are compatible,

Interesting, Thank you. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have the fish I'm looking for info about.

On the fish, Celestichthys margaritatus, a group of 20 in your 60 litre (15 gallon) aquarium would be good.  As for the shrimp, if small they would likely be eaten, or any baby shrimp would.  But if large enough, you can add a group.

You can read more on the fish here::

This website is not recommended as it does not take into the many different factors of an aquarium. I would not use it.

I take that site with a pinch of salt as I do with everything else I read on the net, obviously you have to research alot but this would be a start for me..... :)

Thanks all, I reckon I'll lose baby shrimp to the fish, maybe some will survive as I plan on the tank being well planted, but I'm not that bothered. I don't want hundreds of shrimp, just a little colony.
