Here are some images of the young Channa Ornatipinnis I got from Nelly. He asked me for some pics so I thought I'd post them here for everyone to have a butchers!! :)

Sorry the quality isn't that great but I only have a rubbish point and shoot!! :blush:

The 2 in the last picture are always together and spend alot of time rubbing and brushing against each other and chasing the others away. So I'm hopeing ;) :good:

awwwww, they look great, I wondered who had the last group, good luck with them & make sure you have some melafix to hand for after their tussles!

Good luck with the pair, 2 of mine were acting similar, but then after a week they stopped, i'm anxiously waiting for a new pair to come together now.

I have plenty of Melafix available karigupi :) At the moment the tussles aren't too bad, but I am keeping a close eye on them. (Thats my excuse to sit in front of their tank all night lol) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the pair!! (May even be 2 pairs) So watch this space......

cool snakeheads... at my lfs we have a rare one ... first time in the uk or sumink .. lol will find out the name of it :D ... we also have some fire n ice one :D

Fire and ice are new to the channa world, a stuning channa given the right condition's, when you see them in bare fish tanks in shops it really lets them down to show of true colouration etc
 
These are really great looking fish, are they a good novice fish? Just enquiring as I have never kept predatory fish before and they look really nice.
