Some pics of my fish :D

I think the Syno is an upside-down Catfish as we have found him a couple of times resting on his tail amongst our decorations  . And his colouration extends underneath him, but I am open to your opinions. (We have a couple, the other is a much lighter colour).

Wow, you catfish looks kool, i wanted to get one of them while at the fish store today, but sadly i got reminded that i couldnt, though, i must ask, how do your Neons get along with the catfish, because it is said that neons will attack any fish with long wiskers and big fins?

I like the white ornament too :p

Great pictures! I tried looking up what sydontis he was, but I don't really think he's an upside down cat. You may want to try looking at www.planetcatfish.com to figure out what he is :) Anyway, love the pics, especially the tetras and the lyretail mollies!

Ta all.

I have had a look through planetcatfish, but have yet to decide which one it is...... :/

The tank is home to three loaches, 10 neons, 8 mollies (and now about 40 fry) and the two catfish.

The neons don't bother the catfish at all........in fact, nobody bothers anybody else, the neons ignore everyone and just do their thing......the mollies spend all the time eating and "getting-it-on".......the catfish and the loaches join forces and seem to feed alongside each other.

The "Roman ruins" style building in the background is a little on the large side........and not really what I want in the tank..........however, at the moment, the two catfish live in it, the mollies scrub the outside, and the fry hide in the upper "rooms".......

Better photos when I am happier with the tank, but here is a little more of that "roman-ruin"...... :look:

The catfish is a juvinile Synodontis eupterus.

Are you certain CFC.....?

I finally managed to speak to my lfs where I got them, and they seem to think they are Synodontis Malthasomthingorother. :*)

Looks like a tank upgrade will be due in 10 months or so if they are what you think they are.

BTW.......white ornament will be coming out when the fry that are hiding in it are a little bigger......we have a few pieces of bogwood and some slate to go in........at the moment the tank is far too bright....... :S

Id agree with Cfc on this 1 , i have 2 feather fins or squeekers my self :D

They look like network catfish...
Network catfish is yet another common name for Synodontis eupterus.

I would say im 99% certain it is a juvinile eupterus.

The only Synodontis species that sounds anything like the name the lfs possible gave you, that I can think of is Synodontis multipunctatus and those are certainly not that, so I'd agree with CFC. :)
