Yeah it's a juwel rio 400 (450 litre) 5 foot in length

Haha not far off. It's the rio 400. The 5 foot version. 450 litres. Don't let the pic fool u. It's biiiig lol had it around 2 weeks but as the fish I have will get to 18inch+ there are already plans for a custom made 6x3x3 for our spare room. Just need to get some more sand for it and another fluval fx5

Thank you, looks different again now, got more plants ad black sand as it brings the colours of my fish out more (only have 1 fish as it eats everything else that moves

See how he goes with the plants now if he starts destroying them then I'm only keeping the 4 at the back, move some of the wood around and add rocks instead

Added a Texas cichlid to the tank (no more fish to add now) and rearranged the tank to stop aggression (territory).. I took the fish out, vacuumed the sand, rearranged the tank, put new water in (added seachem prime) and then made sure I put the Texas back in 1st. The 5 foot length really helps as they have not bothered each other at all. They have swam around together.but then they both go to their own side of the tank. They both have their own little hide outs on each end too

Lots more swimming space for them now and they are both eating cichlid pellets... No more live food and their colours are getting better
