very nice :) i like it looks like a underwater american forest :)

Thanks :) I do want to change the plants for real ones but I don't have a clue about them so wouldn't really know where to start. I do want more rocks too

aah nice i am in same boat tbh with plants i added a few plants to my tank but have no idea on them and I'm hoping the take to my setup :) its the Co2 thats gone hinder me :( what are the fish in your pics called never seem them before look nice :)

Nice snakehead.
If I were you I'd split/cut that terracotta pot in half so you have two and move them towards the back of the tank. Anything that would use it as a hiding spot will not really use it at the front.

Real plants are good as they use up some of the waste that fish produce in order to grow. Many people, including myself do not use CO2 and plants grow fine. Anubias, java fern, moss, crypts, amazon swords are sort of hardy plants.

Thanks, they are rainbow snakeheads. Also known as dwarf snakeheads. Specific name for them is channa bleheri. They are a sub tropical predatory species that live at around 19 degrees c and grow to around 6-8 inches in length.

Beautiful tank!
Thank you very much :) glad you like it

What's your stock I crnt seem to see any apart from your snakehead :L

Thats all I have (apart from my little orange spotted plec which hilly grown will get 7 inch max)... 3 dwarf snakeheads. It's advised they don't mix with anything else as they can be extremely aggressive

Ok so iv just got some more real plants to replace my remaining 2 plastic ones + a few more to fill the tank up a bit better. Looks so much better than having plastic ones. Wish I'd bought them sooner :)

Good plan :) I've seen some snakehead tanks that are insanely thickly planted, I know they appreciate any cover they can get so I'm sure the more plants the better as far as they're concerned!

aah nice thank you got a new pic with the real plants :) i had a look today for some amazon swords but i decided not to get them :) as I'm going away for 4 months :( gone miss my lil fishes haha

Yeah iv just taken a new pic... Still haven't got as many plants as I would like so back out I go tomorrow to get some more :)
