I just set up my new 36 gallon tank and it is now going through a fishless cycle. When its ready I was thinking of maybe adding a school of marble hatchets, could anyone give me more information about this fish? Also I would like to hear what other uniqe looking community fish I should put in my tank? I would love to hear some opinions! :)

Maybe some cories since the hatchets stay right at the top all the time, you'll need some fish that like the bottom and then a mid-level fish too.

You can't get much more unique looking than African Butterfly Fush.

I love inverts. red cherry shrimp are great and are pretty easy to keep breeding. Many fish will eat some which is a great supplement but most community tank fish will not hunt them to extinction.
Dwarf Crayfish are fun too. They aren't very aggressive towards fish or plants but they will go after a dead or dying fish.
