So i didn't get strung by the missus and here it is.... so far,


bought some plants think i need a few more though;

It looks nice. The plants are all at about the same height. I would try to get some more varied heights, maybe a few moss balls or some dwarf hairgrass or similar? Maybe a carpet of ricca or something over part of the substrate.


What fish are you considering to add?

That's your solution to everything. Living where you do, I can understand your thinking. If I had access to as much bogwood as you, I would be far more reticent to add more and even scour the local lakes for more.

Now i know im no doubt going to get a few stocking comments but there is a mixture of bought and rehomed fish - couldnt allow some to be 'flushed'.

A large, branchy bit of wood (off-set from center - according to the "golden ratio") would be the topper for the tank, with a bit of moss on it as well.

The tanks looking good, although with that stocking i doubt the plants are going to last long.
