Is the fish in the bag the same fish as the second picture? Looks more like the first one to me.

Second picture looks female but with colour, I'm not good at sexing apistos though and it's harder when they're young

You have one male, two females and one probable female. Females sometimes have a similar amount of colour to males, and it is not uncommon for them to have at least some patterning in the tail. On the other hand, the uncertain one does have quite pointed dorsal, from what I can see.. compare that to the other females and male.

hi kk, i thought the same i spose only time will tell. The one female just stays in 1 of the coconut huts i made yesterday so am pleased its bein used and the others r happy roamin around. p.s. Yes i did change the order of the photos so the two of the boy were together
