The 2 bush fish are around 3.5" now. We bought them in early summer at around 2/3".
It could depend on the species of bush fish. Mine are Ctenopoma Acutirostre with a max size of between 6 and 8 inches. Some from the Ctenopoma only get to 2 or 3". C. oxyrhynchus (Mottled Ctenopoma) is somewhat similar (though lighter) in colouration and markings to C. acutirostre though reaching only around half the size. Baensch lists the maximum wild size as 4" for C. oxyrhynchus.
