Snails Vs Java Ferns

Hi,

I've just recently attached some ferns to some driftwood and was wondering if the bog standard snails you sometimes get when you buy plants would eat them. Oh and if a batman snail would as well?

I have a few pest snails and java fern in both tanks.

One tank just has Malaysian Trumpet Snails. These don't eat java ferns at all.

In my other tank i have MTS, Ramshorn snails and an unknown pest snail. It doesn't look like any have been eating the ferns in here either, but they have been eating other plants. I'm not sure if they just don't like it or prefer the vallis but would eat the fern if thats all there was?

Well it's mainly full of Java Ferns but I do have a few little Amazon Swords. I might just take my Batman snail out and kill the others with treatment.
