Snail Removal

Ive got a new tank and dont really want to introduce snails, whats the best stuff to treat my plants with before i put them in the tank?

Not all snails eat plants. Research some snails for example Planorbis corneus. However you may need to cull the snails when they become too numerous. You will probably get these snails for free when you purchase plants. They often come in eggs on plants. If the problem becomes out of hand then you may need puffers however they are aggressive and you might need to keep them in a different tank untill you need them.
