I have loads of snails in my tank, and i am currently waiting to swap tanks to a bigger one and i dont want that problem in my big tank.

I have seen stuff you can buy to get rid of them but my molly has just had babies and i was wondering whether the stuff to kill the snails would harm them??

dont add it , its a waste of time and doesnt work!!

there is a good peacefull catfish that i reccomend thats eats snails very well, its the humbug catfish.

there are others as well, but these are extremely peaceful, come out at night, and wont touch any other fish :good:

Keep an eye on how much you feed. Overfeeding will/can lead to a snail population explosion. They are scavengers and will eat up any food that makes it to the bottom uneaten. I agree that you should stay away from the chemicals. Best way to get rid of them is to remove them by hand. You can also try putting a piece of lettuce in the tank. The snails will go to it to feed. Simply lift it out and trash the snails.
