Snail Eaters

No it was me getting on my high horse.

I think the reason that you need a group is because like a lot of loaches they are semi aggressive and when they are in groups it seems to pacify them a little.

Someone will surely put me right but I am no expert on loaches or indeed most other fish as I sek a lot more advice than I can ever give.

Thanks for trying to help me anyways. Love those bengal queen loaches tho.

Oh I forgot, there is one warning, whilst they are not plant eaters :no: they can uproot plants if they haven't rooted properly :rolleyes: . So I suggest you get your plants growing well before adding them :lol: or else get used to replanting them :grr:

I have some Zebra loaches for snail control. I bought 3 of them 4 days ago (so was pleased to see George recommending them). They are very active and zoom round the tank as though on an endless search, so far it doesn't seem to be for snails. They are amusing and lovely to watch especially with the shelldwellers -fearless and nosey.
