After finally getting my 64L tank water sorted out i celebrated today by going and getting a Superfish qube 25. Went to my local fish shop and picked up:-

Tanks with filter + light
Heater
Large Bogwood
4x Moss balls
1x Moss tunnel
1x Plants
Subtrate
Ringloach (Not for my tanks but my girlfriends)

All for £85! I think a bargain. Only reason i went for a small tank is because ive got a little addicted to the Crystal Shrimp but dont want to put them in my 64L tank for my Dwarf gourami to gobble up.

But my questions are

How many shrimp can i put in it?

Also maybe a few small fish? I have 9 baby platys in a breeding net of the 64L tank was thinking maybe some of them once the fishless cycle is done but not sure yet what to do.

All ideas are welcome!

You will end up with dozens of neocaradina in a tank that size unless the platies eat them for dinner. An adult platy has a mouth almost as big as a dwarf gourami. The shrimp will probably be OK except when they molt. Some will fall prey to the platies at that time.

Ill only be having fry platys in the tank. Once a good size they will either be sold or given to a LFS.

Also i cant have Crystal shrimp due to there PH levels are out of the Platys PH levels so im going to get Cherry Shrimp as they can have the same PH level.

Had a change of heart with bits of it and finally got the tank how i want it as the subtrate made it look all dark and dusty.
