Hi all, now my aquarium is nice & healthy & not at all toxic! I'm wondering when my four fry should be released into the main tank from the isolation net?
I have four Platy fry & the main tank houses four Tetras, two Platies & a Borneo Sucker. The fry were born about two months ago & are still much smaller than even the Tetras but as I have no idea how fast the fry grow it seems a shame they spend much more time in that isolation net. Is it time for them to go in?

Assuming you want them all to live, they can go in the main tank when they're big enough to not get eaten.

Well lets assume I want them to live shall we!
I explained during my last thread how new I was to this & how little I knew, it was expressed to me by others here how there were NO stupid questions & to ask away. Your post smacked a little too much of sarcasm for my liking I'm afraid!
I added the other members of my tank community to give you some idea of whether they would be safe or not, perhaps almost certainly useless information without knowing the size of the fry but I posted in haste before going to an appointment for that I apologise.
I estimate their size at about eight millimetres to a centimetre in length.
I have been pressed into taking a Black Widow Tetra that is alittle bigger than my Platies so around five centimetres long so this thread maybe redundant now but again, as I have no idea how fast the fry grow is it likely they'll spend the next six months in solitary?

I would wait until the fry are about 1.5 cm long. At that size they will be too big to be eaten by your other fish.

IF YOUVE GOT PLENTY OF HIDING PLACES,THEN ONCE THEY HAVE DOUBLED THERE SIZE TWICE THEY WILL BE FINE,MY FISH GIVE BIRTH IN THE TANK AND I MUST HAVE AT LEAST 25 FRY GROWING IN MY TANK AND THATS FROM BIRTH
