Small External Filter?

hi all

recently i got given a small 30 lt tank which i have set up in my kitchen,i am using a fluval plus 1 internal filter.

what is the smallest external filter available? is it possible to get small enough filter to use on this tank?

Eden 501 is pretty small, I'd be inclined to use a tetra tec ex400 or ex600 though.
