I can get my hands on a piece of marble...
Do you think this would be ok to tie my riccia to?

Just wanna make sure marble will be ok in a tank...

Hey Walt, how is that riccia coming along? Did it multiply lots?

hmmm........not so sure i thought you couldnt use marble in aquariums, when i say couldnt i dont think its recommended, i think marble is a type of limestone (dont ask me what type) and will raise the ph of the water, i think its mainly composed of calcite which basically is seashells.

I would double check before you put it in (you are double checking says you :D ) maybe someone else can confirm one way or the other as im not 100% certain.

I'm getting a no from my brief research on the net. I was actually linked back to a thread The-Wolf posted on rocks in the aquarium... I knew it was here, i just couldnt find it!
