Skimmer And Powerhead

Hi guys, sorry for posting in here, just wanted to make sure this is seen by as many as poss!!

still trying to piece together my first marine aquarium!

I have got a heater and light for the tank, now just need the above and a HOB filter, prices on ebay seem really high on P&P so I wondered if anyone had any old second hand ones??

tank is 23 gal\93 litres so 180lph skimmer and 1500lph powerhead should do the trick. Willing to pay, collect or pay P&P, im in Torquay, Devon.

Sorry dont have either myself,

I am guessing you will be after a Koralia K2 for that size tank these go for about £30 new there is a second hand one available on the place I PMd you about yesterday but at £25 i would make him an offer of £20 delivered else fleabay is your best bet.

The other option for the power heads (I went this way in my 80L nano) is 2 x Koralia nanos it gives you a little more flexability in water direction but will cost you roughly £20 ea.

Skimmer you are after a hang on at a guess depends on what you intend to stock you could run skimmer free (Some do I would not personaly just my prefrence) You could pick up a Boyu WG310 will sit in the tank but these sell for roughly £15 new from HK delivery usualy in a week or so.

What are your thoughts with the HoB filter for? If you just want to add carbon, rowaphos etc any of the ones on flea bay will do there is even one with a built in skimmer not sure how good the skimmer is though.

I was looking at a cheapo HOB from fleebay thats about £13 I just wanted to put carbon and phos remover in it and possibly a little filter floss.

There are skimmers and powerheads on there but the P&P looks loads on some of them! so thought id try on here and the other before I succombe to fleebay!
