Thought that would make someone look!

I am wondering why the wholesalers size their tanks and pre shaped fish pools the way they do.

I asked and was told that well you could keep a Goldfish in there.

That one is not deep enough etc,

It was the same with the tropical fish tank indoors you need at least if you want to keep anything more than the smallest of fish.

I know it seems daft but who would really want to keep one goldfish and then to be told it my hold a pair but they breed like crazy.

Not everyone has a park sized garden so how do others get round this.

Is a pond liner worth the effort and what are the snags except the sides falling in?

Why not try stopping the side falling in by puttin rocks around the side?
You might wanna consider the fact of getting rid of the stones underneath the liner and then put sand down to stop holes in the liner

yea im using large landscaping rocks to hold the top from flapping in. when you fill it up the sides will have enough pressure on them to stay up. for the bottom you need to have no rocks under the liner. if you do it will put holes in it. you need to do sand then underlay, then the liner.
