Simple shrimp question

Hi all, Which plant would be better for red cherry shrimp, a wad of java moss or some Marino moss balls?

Java moss, they can hide in it.

When I look into my ghost shrimp tank. I usually see one or more shrimp on the 4 moss balls in that tank. But I also see a shrimp or two on the java moss. Java moss would be good for any young shrimp to hide in,

I have floating artificial plant for them to hide in already I’m just wondering for the food side of it

Shrimp don’t eat plants,

Anacharis floating is great. Mine live it.

I was told they eat some microorganisms off of them or the decaying parts.

Anacharis and java moss are my 2 favorites. Moss balls are OK, but I don’t prefer them as you don’t get to see them grow.

(Note: My cherry shrimp also like to sit on the broad leaves of my lacy java fern and my Anubias plants. )

My shrimp seem to spend as much time in the anacharis as they do going over the gravel. Here is two pictures of one climbing around in the anacharis, He is in the center of the picture.
