Silly Betta... Algae Is For Loaches!

This is off the main topic but I would switch to sinking wafers instead of algae wafers. They would have more of the nutrients that your loaches need. Also break them into smaller pieces and they will all be able to get some food.

drop his pellets one end and pwhen hes eating pop the wafers the other so when he is eating he don't see the wafers and eat them to. :good:

Yeah, I'v edone that, he sniffs em out. He's like a shark. One drop of wafer and BAM he's on it.

I already break em into fourths (only feeding one fourth at a time though. and they'renot just algae wafers, let's see...

it's TetraMin "The Rich Mix" Food for Bottom Feeders. Specifically designed for loaches and catfish, looks like.

Ahh! That's good; then they may contain some algae and spirilina, but they are not algae wafers? It is good to check and compare ingredients.

Nope, it's got quite the ingredient list. I don't see spirulina, but it has a bunch of fish/shrimp/algae meal, potatoe protein, wheat glutein, skim milk(?), ground brown rice...

Hey I think I should be eating this as part of my balanced diet.
