The guy is registered on this forum there was a thread about it.

I dont agree with it whatsoever, but if i remember rightly alot of people said if its caused no harm then theres no problem.

Either way just plain weird!

but in essensce not much different that cutting a Dobermans tail or ears...
And it's no different than fishing with a hook and bait.
At least the Oscars get to live...and not be dinner.

And it does suit the Oscar personality.
They gobble up everything.

This is just crazy! Yeah maybe it does suit them but its not fair on the fish.
I have many tats and piercings and I wouldn't put an animal through that pain.
I have to admit I agree with tail docking in dogs.

Fishing with a hook is completely different, because the hooks gets taken out and if the fish is realeased, and then it heals. What was the point to piercing a fish? It really has no point to it.

well to be fair theres no point in catching fish out the river jus to throw them back again but i dont wanna start a debate on fishing cos i really dont mind it.



piercing is jus stupid tho. forgetting the pain and pointlessness, we have a choice if we want something like this done and the fish obviously didnt.

Tat is extremely retarted. It probably didnt cause him much pain, but it looks weird. Also, why do people pierce themselves? It looks bad.

yeah but fish hooks have barbs that are desighned to be gouged into the skin to not let the fish get away and then! the fish is drug through the water by your power and using its power to fight against you so theres alot of tension on the fish when you hook one. but the lip piercing is a little weird but if you think about it its not much different than branding cows or tagging birds. when we tranqed the pigeons at our school we had to put a tag through a little flap on their wing to mark how many and of what kind of pigeon made the trip to the other school (in flight thing)

plus peircing animals and people alike have been around since humans discovered sharp objects. theres a festival in arab countries that pierce them selves with large objects to show how much guts (polite word for balls) they got.
